This assumes you have connected the J5 to your WiFi network. The area I can help and provide guidance is in factory resetting your J5 ScreenCast. J5 ScreenCast Connect Connection / Factory Reset Troubleshooting I was able to mirror my iPhone by just connecting to the ScreenCast SSID directly. If you’re having trouble with this I suggest contacting J5 directly.Ī helpful tip though, if you don’t require internet on the device that is connecting wireless to the J5 ScreenCast you don’t have to connect it to your WiFi network. I am not going to share setup instructions as the instructions on the J5 ScreenCast Connect website and user guide have good instructions. The difference is the J5 Create doesn’t require any app as it will support whatever native wireless screen mirroring is supported at the OS level. To be clear, the J5 Create ScreenCast is not a streaming stick, it sits closer to being a Chromecast or the sort of thing you might have in your office if you can wirelessly project to a screen. What makes the J5 stand out is it supports AirPlay, Chromecast, and Mirracast. I use Windows but also iOS (iPhone and iPad) so I needed something that was agnostic about my devices.
